hey women wondering

Wonder WomanThe "Wonder Woman" television series might never find its way to the small screen, but I'm probably not alone in looking forward to the inevitable online debut — official or otherwise — of the show's pilot episode. Until then, however, we'll have to make do with snippets of footage like the one that popped up on the 'net today.
The short, seven-second "Wonder Woman" teaser was posted by Bleeding Cool, and features a brief scene of Adrianne Palicki in costume walking toward the camera. The teaser opens and closes with the "Wonder Woman" logo.
While there's not a lot there, it's our first look at any real footage from the ill-fated project, which NBC passed on last month.

And with that, the countdown to the pilot's arrival online has officially begun...
Let us know what you think of the footage in the comment section or on Twitter! You can also follow me, Splash Page editor Rick Marshall, on Twitter

beyonce new cd preview

Beyonce's 4: The Most Surprising Moments

MTV News takes a deeper look at the singer's June 28 release.

Lady Gaga is political, Britney Spears loves to party, and Beyoncé — well, she knows all about matters of the heart. Her latest album, 4, which drops June 28, is a girl-power-filled ode to the power of love: its highs, lows and all the sublime moments in between.
If you didn't listen to the full album when it leaked on Tuesday and have only heard singles "Run the World (Girls)," "1+1" and "Best Thing I Never Had," you're only getting part of the picture. There are some really surprising moments on the album that her singles only touch on.
4 is all about throwback jams, in the vein of R&B power girls like Mary J. Blige and SWV, with a little Mariah Carey thrown in for good measure. With fewer dance-floor fillers and more swirling ballads, Beyoncé's voice is the true star of the album, as evidenced on "I Care," a power ballad that recalls slow jams like the ones Phil Collins used to spill his heart on. B's voice is huge and owns the song as the instrumentals swirl and crescendo around her.
"Party," which features Andre 3000, is a, well, party jam at its very core. For anyone who attended a house party in the mid-'90s, this would have been the song to get the bash started. As Beyoncé sings, "So in love/ I'll give it all away/ Just don't tell nobody tomorrow," you'll be transported to a time when pop princesses cared more about the heart than the synth.
She kicks it even more old-school on "Rather Die Young," harking back to '70s soul. The song is about how you can't fight what the heart wants, even if it isn't right. Likening her lover to James Dean, it's all about the sexiness of bad boys and the good girls who love them, but instead of going hard, she keeps the music soft.
Perhaps the most surprising song on the album is "Countdown." Full of video-game bleeps and B doing her best Sasha Fierce (we thought she retired her!), the singer gets sassy and futuristic on the track. While it's not like the other songs on the album, it does have a "Check on It" vibe.
Beyoncé gives fans a musical kick to the head during "End of Time," a bombastic track, complete with in-your-face bass line and a marching band. B keeps things melodic, sharing lines like, "Take you away from here/ There's nothing between us but space and time."
Have you heard B's full album or are you waiting for the official release? Let us know in the comments.

Dance Central 2 To Feature Nicki Minaj's "Massive Attack"

Posted by User
Dance Central 2 will feature simultaneous multiplayer, according to Microsoft's E3 Press Conference. Simultaneous multiplayer was one of the features that was really missing from Dance Central, so fans of the Kinect dancing game should be thrilled. In Dance Central 2's Perform It mode you'll be able to play together or head to head with friends. The new multiplayer will also allow drop in/drop out functionality so the party never has to stop.
You will also be able to transfer your entire library of songs from Dance Central to Dance Central 2, which makes the sequel feature the largest library ever for a dancing video game. Dance Central 2 will also feature voice recognition, a campaign mode, new venues, dance crews, and a renovated Break It Down mode. Some of the songs from Dance Central 2's new soundtrack were also unveiled. You'll find the full list after the break.

video

Nearly a year after the song debuted, Kanye West unleashes the final version of his “Monster” video featuring Rick Ross, Jay-Z, and Nicki Minaj. In the gory visuals, directed by Jake Nava, Yeezy summons the dead in a haunted mansion filled with ghouls, zombies, and bloodsuckers.
A Hugh Hefner-esque Rozay wields a chain saw in one room, while a sharply-dressed Jay cavorts with a corpse in another. Down the hall, Mr. West gets in the sheets with two dead models as terrifying creatures grab at him.
But it’s still Nicki Minaj who steals the spotlight as her good and evil alter-egos battle it out in the frightful visuals. You scared?

Pink Tweets Her Disapproval Of Selena Gomez's 'Animal Cruelty'

Pink ponies prancing on the beach is a sight that might make many people stop and smile, but "Trouble" singer Pink had a different reaction when confronted with such a scenario last Thursday in L.A.

"If there are any animal activists around Malibu at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame," she tweeted. Whose "stupid" music video was it? None other than Selena Gomez, who was shooting the clip for "I Love You Like A Love Song." Needless to say, it wasn't long before Disney fans inundated Pink with angry (!!!) tweets and hair dye hit the fan.

"oh lord, THAT'S whose video it was?" the pregnant pop-rocker responded, retweeting a news item that Selena Gomez fans were cross with her. "Disney fans unite. Here we go."

Selena's rep quickly issued a statement to People magazine saying that it was "important to the production company, record label and Ms. Gomez that no animals were harmed and all proper precautions were taken." The powdered dye was nontoxic and vegetable-based, and they even had an official from the Humane Society on set to make sure the horses were happy. But Pink's righteous anger knew no bounds!

"whether u r a fan of mine or whomEVER'S, i won't stop speaking out about animal cruelty. i've taken responsibility in the past, so should she," she reiterated. You have to hand it to the PETA supporter: She sure is vocal about her cause -- or maybe she's jealous someone else is using her signature color in a video. Who knows?!

If it wasn’t for the special effects, the fireworks and the 100 underpaid dancers, Beyoncé’s performance would have generated more yawns than Nicki Minaj’s did.

SELENA GOMEZ SPEAKS ON NICKI MINAJ

POSTED BY USER
She can sing, act, top best-dressed lists and serve up an A-level Nicki Minaj impression. But it takes a special sort of talent to MC the carnival of pop, glitz and high-decibel squealing that is the MuchMusic Video Awards. Selena Gomez is this year’s celebrity co-host, and the 18-year-old is up for the challenge -- she’s “stoked,” even. Here, Gomez chats with Dose.ca about her rap skills, recording songs by Katy Perry and Britney Spears and -- duh -- those MMVAs.

Q: I was hoping you might sneak some rapping in. Your video of Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass” is pretty amazing.
A: Ha ha ha! That’s a good idea! Yeah!
Q: What chance is there that’d happen?
A: I don’t know, but that’s the first time I’ve heard that, and that’s pretty awesome. I want to rap on my tour this summer, my first headlining tour. I’m trying to incorporate that in the set.
Q: The same Nicki Minaj cover, or what would you be doing?
A: I think I want to do that [“Super Bass”]. We’re thinking about writing something, but I’m a horrible rapper, so I think we’ll do something by Nicki Minaj because I love her.

nicki at it again

The lucky Travis Barker was the last man to get a lap dance from Nicki Minaj on the final stop of Lil Wayne’s “I Am Still Music” tour in Calgary, Canada. The Young Money rapper has announced that she will retire the routine when she hits the road with Britney Spears in June. The Blink-182 drummer sat in the hot seat with his hands behind his back and legs spread as she teased him with her bountiful assets. Savor Nicki’s last booty poppin’ moments.

Osama Bin Laden's Death Gives 'Hope,' 'Relief' To Young New Yorkers

Ground Zero is a site of celebration and reflection following the news of the terrorist leader's demise.

NEW YORK — As the world reacted to the news that Osama bin Laden was killed by U.S. military operatives in Abbottabad, Pakistan, many gathered near Ground Zero to celebrate and reflect. Nearly 10 years after the attack on the World Trade Center, young New Yorkers and tourists looked back on how the last decade and the actions of Bin Laden have drastically changed their world views.

"I'm very proud to be standing here right now," Kristen, who was a sophomore in high school when the 9/11 attacks took place, told MTV News. "I'd love to give a shout out to my cousin who is a troop and he is a ranger in the Army. His name is David, he's on his fourth tour in Afghanistan, and he's awesome. And I'm very proud of him, and I'm very proud of all our troops."
Elise, who works in the area near Ground Zero, said that the news left her conflicted. "Well, initially, personally, I approached it with skepticism," she said. "But you know, after hearing the details, I'm just proud. After Obama's speech, I was just proud to be an American. And I'm supporting our troops 100 percent. There's so much support out here. Of course we're cautious about retaliation, but those affected by September 11 can finally get some closure and some justice, so I'm definitely proud to be an American today.
Elise said the tragedy of 9/11 "dramatically" affected her generation. "The memorial, just seeing Ground Zero restored — how can we ever forget? I know I was a freshman in high school, and I was definitely affected, although no one I was close to was victimized but I was still affected, I was still traumatized."
Victoria, who also works downtown, anticipated a sense of relief in the neighborhood. "I think the mood would be relief and joy and happiness that we finally have accomplished something very big," she said. "And Osama dying ... that's awesome. ... I remember 10 years ago, when this all went down, and I was home on Cape Cod listening to all of this on the news. And growing up with all of it and now being in New York, it's definitely going to affect my generation and how we view the United States. I think positivity will definitely rise in our nation, a lot of hope."
Financial District resident Devin mirrored Elise's sentiments. "I'm here to feel the sense of relief the next day," he said. "Last night was very much bringing everyone together. It was a night of celebration, and I definitely felt the love. ... Ten years ago, this was a totally different scene. So it went from tragedy 10 years ago to a scene of love, so in that time, there was a lot of suffering and last night and today was our day to let it all out.
"This generation and the generation that was younger [during the 9/11 attacks], it definitely shows them you can say a lot about the country, but we come together in times of suffering and times of celebration," he added. "It shows a lot of hope for the younger generation."

Fans are eight weeks away from the launch of the Femme Fatale tour. Britney Spears, along with top-line tour opener Nicki Minaj, will get the party started in June in Sacramento, California.

Minaj has called the slot "an honor." When MTV News caught up with the Barbie herself in New Orleans for the latest stop on the I Am Still Music Tour, she opened up a bit more about the matchup.

"She's definitely iconic and I'm very excited," Minaj explained. "It's weird. I just always remember her, since I was little, ruling the world, so I'm really excited to just expand my fanbase and show people that I can be a part of any world."

Minaj is the reigning princess in the hip-hop world, and she feels that hooking up with pop's leading queen will expand her horizons, even if she has to make some changes to her stage show.

"Of course I will adjust some things. I definitely will take away that one particular stage prop," she said of one very phallic object, adding that her music and set list will basically stay the same. "We'll add some stuff 'cause I got some new things coming out this summer, some new records."

Earlier this week, Minaj called into Ryan Seacrest's radio show, promising that things will be characteristically over-the-top when she hits the road with Spears.

"I'm calling to let everyone know how thrilled I am, how honored I am to be going on the road with the iconic Miss Britney Spears this summer. I just know that when the Femme Fatales and the Barbs get together, we're going to kick major ass," she said. "And I am looking forward to creating a new, a bigger, a brighter, a more spectacular show. And I am just really, really excited to make history with Britney, so you guys, make sure you come out this summer."

Jennifer Lopez Poses With Lil Wayne On 'I'm Into You' Video Set

New photos show the pair all dressed in black and mugging for the camera on set.

What happens when Jennifer Lopez and Lil Wayne shoot a video together? Well, according to two new stills from the "I'm Into You" video set, the two take it very seriously and dress all in black.
In one photo, J.Lo is seen standing in a very little black dress and thigh-high boots, looking fiercely into the camera. Wayne is standing next to her, also in all black, checking the time on his watch. In another shot, the pair stands back to back, in the same outfits, both looking like they are deep in thought.
The video is set to drop on May 2, a day before J.Lo's album Love? hits the street. Previous photos from the video set show the "American Idol" judge in a much more exotic locale at Chichen Itza in Mexico.
At Chichen Itza, the singer was spotted sitting atop the steps of the historic pyramid, glaring seductively, with her legs crossed, as a camera crew hovers below her. She was wearing a long snake-print sundress with matching bracelets and headband. Another on-set photo shows Lopez in a metallic two-piece, showing her midriff and legs.
"I'm Into You" is the second single off her forthcoming album. She climbed to the top of the charts with the first single, the RedOne-produced, Pitbull-assisted dance song "On the Floor."
When she's not busy being a dance diva, Lopez is judging talent on "Idol,"shopping a new reality show and gearing up to perform at the BillboardMusic Awards.
